000 · Noise
The noise
arrives first.
Something lands. A call, a result, a sentence you were not ready for. A second later your head is full, every thought moving at once, none of them waiting their turn.

001 · Gather
So you
pull it in.
You stop reacting and start choosing. You drag the loose pieces back into one place where you can look at them properly. It isn't calm yet. But it's yours, and it holds still long enough to think.
Move your cursor through it.
002 · Hold
And for a while,
it holds.
You have a shape you can name. A routine that works. An answer that still sounds right when you say it out loud to someone else. You start believing this is the finished version of you.
003 · Break
Then it
breaks again.
It always does. Something gives, and the whole thing comes apart in your hands, and the worst part is knowing you built it yourself. This is where most people decide they were never going to make it.
004 · Still
You settle.
Not because the noise stopped. Because you stopped needing it to. You put yourself back together one more time, and this version doesn't move as easily as the last one.
So when another bullet comes your way, and it will, you stay right where you are. Unfazed.
